• Professional - Computer Interface: Research is being carried out to assess how computer applications can promote effective consulting. A second project is being carried out on how to develop an effective interface with cancer guidelines. This is a collaboration with University of Cambridge. Research is also being conducted into issues around Read Coding, why practices change computer systems, and into the introduction of nurse based near patient testing.
   
• Abstracting of Key Journals for Primary Care: Sign-posts to the key messages within key Primary Care Journals are being abstracted, and stored in a fully searchable data-base.
